Christina Toenshoff heeft de Virginia Walsh Dissertation Award gewonnen voor haar proefschrift over het lobbyen door bedrijven op het gebied van klimaatbeleid. Daarmee, aldus de jury, leverde Leidse politicoloog ‘een belangrijke bijdrage aan de studie van klimaat en bedrijfspolitiek.’

Aleydis Nissen wint de Andrés Bello-prijs (Institut de Droit International)
Tijdens de 80e sessie van het in Genève gevestigde Institut de Droit International kreeg Aleydis Nissen de Andrés Bello Prijs. De wedstrijd werd in 1931 opgericht door James Brown Scott en wordt sindsdien uitgevoerd onder auspiciën van het Institut.

Johan Visser wint Fruinprijs 2022
Er zijn weer veel goede scripties geschreven het afgelopen jaar, en vier daarvan zijn genomineerd voor de Fruinprijs. Voor het eerst na de coronajaren kon deze prijs weer worden uitgereikt tijdens de opening van het academisch jaar van de opleiding Geschiedenis.
