Op 14 november 2019 verdedigde Niek Schipper zijn proefschrift 'De invloed van de woonplaats op de fiscale behandeling van grensoverschrijdende werknemers'. Het promotieonderzoek is begeleid door promotoren prof.mr. S.C.W. Douma en prof.mr. J.P. Boer.

Carlotta Rigotti, postdoctoraal onderzoeker bij eLaw – Centrum voor Recht en Digitale Technologie, nam deel aan de Artificial Intelligence and Labour Market (AI&LM) Workshop, georganiseerd door de Universiteit Gent, om onderzoeksresultaten uit het BIAS-project te presenteren.
