Het studentenleven is nu ook op een andere manier hoorbaar in Leiden. Vanaf 6 juni speelt het stadscarillon van het stadhuis ieder uur bekende melodieën van het Leidsch Studenten Cabaret uit de jaren ’50. Zoals ‘Laat je zoon studeren’.

Eerstejaars maken kennis met faculteit W&N
Bijna zeshonderd aankomende eerstejaars studenten bezochten op dinsdag 15 augustus hun nieuwe Faculteit der Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen. Ze werden welkom geheten met onder andere een vossenjacht, fotoshoots, warme woorden en vooral heel veel vloeibare stikstof.

Leidse studentenverenigingen verenigd in online platform
De Plaatselijke Kamer van Verenigingen (PKvV) heeft een online mediaplatform gelanceerd waarop alle 24 Leidse studentenverenigingen verenigd zijn. Dit mediaplatform is de laatste maanden ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Universiteit Leiden, Hogeschool Leiden en Leiden Marketing.

2020 in beeld
2020 was een bewogen jaar. Ook in onze foto's was dit goed te zien: anderhalve meter afstand, een lege universiteit, plechtigheden bijwonen via het scherm en werken vanuit huis. De beeldredactie selecteerde de twaalf meest opmerkelijke foto's van het afgelopen jaar.
