Zet een plant in de vensterbank en hij zal binnen enkele uren naar het licht gegroeid zijn. Voor het eerst is dit mechanisme in planten op moleculair niveau in kaart gebracht door Leidse biologen en onderzoekers uit Gent en Lausanne. Ze publiceerden hierover in het prestigieuze Nature Cell Biology.
