'Crossroads of Archaeological Theory and Practice’
Celebrating 30 Years of the Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University

The Faculty of Archaeology at Leiden University is pleased to announce a call for papers for a special commemorative volume of the APL-series celebrating our 30th anniversary. This volume is scheduled for publication just ahead of the 2027 European Association of Archaeologists conference in Leiden, where it will be presented to a vast archaeological community. The volume aims to present the full breadth and excellence of research conducted at our Faculty, under the thematic umbrella of our unique position in Dutch, European and global archaeology and heritage.
