Astronomen onder leiding van Leidse promovendus Richelle van Capelleveen hebben voor het eerst een exoplaneet ontdekt die een heldere baan heeft gecreëerd in de protoplanetaire schijf van zijn ster. Dit zeldzame beeld biedt inzichten in hoe jonge planeten hun omgeving vormgeven.
