Sinds oktober 2024 is Jannemieke Ouwerkerk, hoogleraar Europees Strafrecht, toegetreden tot de Expert Group on EU Criminal Policy van de Europese Commissie (EC). Deze onafhankelijke adviesgroep richt zich op het versterken van coherentie en consistentie van het EU-strafrechtbeleid.
