Dit project onderzoekt hoe kunstenaars in Lissabon en Rotterdam verhalen over diversiteit en migratie verbeelden. Hun kunst laat zien hoe stedelijk leven, thuishoren en identiteit op nieuwe manieren kunnen worden begrepen.

In 'Hier woonden wij' draait het om het Joodse familieleven vóór de Shoah. De auteurs, Wim Willems en Hanneke Verbeek, richten zich op één straat in een willekeurige plaats: Scheveningen. In de periode 1900 tot 1942 streken hier honderden Joodse gezinnen neer, die een eigen gemeenschap vormden.
