In the Netherlands, children attend school from the age of 4 and are legally required to do so from the age of 5. Elementary school, or primary education (basisschool), lasts 8 years.

Vanaf september 2025 biedt de Faculteit Governance and Global Affairs de bacheloropleiding Cybersecurity & Cybercrime aan. Deze unieke Nederlandstalige opleiding leidt studenten op tot veelzijdige cyberexperts. ‘Er is veel vraag naar specialisten op het gebied van cybersecurity en cybercrime’.

Complex onderzoek met een flinke scheut vakjargon: promoties zijn voor leken vaak lastig te volgen. In het nieuwe verplichte lekenpraatje leggen promovendi eerst kort en helder hun proefschrift uit. Dat blijkt niet alleen fijn te zijn voor oma en de vriendenclub.
