New procedure (re)appointment Heads of Department Archaeology
The Heads of Department (DV) are an important link in the organisational structure of the Faculty of Archaeology. The DVs represent the interests of the members of the three departments to the Faculty Board and contribute to the translation of Faculty policy to their department. Furthermore, the DV serves as manager of the permanent staff of the department.
In an ongoing process to provide clarity and transparency within the organisation of the Faculty of Archaeology, a procedure has now been formulated in which the (re)appointment of the chair of the department is laid down step by step. A DV role profile will also follow shortly.
