Historisch onderzoek laat zien hoe Leidse universiteit en stadsbestuur profiteerden van kolonialisme
Met onderwijs en onderzoek droeg de Universiteit Leiden vroeger bij aan kolonialisme en slavernij. Ook bestuurders en inwoners van Leiden hadden een actieve rol in koloniale netwerken. Dat is de uitkomst van twee vooronderzoeken die historici op 3 april presenteerden.
