Siberische eenhoorn stierf veel later uit dan gedacht
Ooit zwierf er een reusachtige prehistorische neushoorn over de steppen van Centraal-Azië. Uit nieuw onderzoek blijkt dat deze zogeheten Siberische eenhoorn veel langer leefde dan gedacht, en waarschijnlijk ‘slechts’ 39.000 jaar geleden uitstierf. Publicatie in Nature Ecology & Evolution.
