Masterscriptieprijzen Politieke Wetenschap 2025: de genomineerden
Elke masterstudent Politicologie aan de Universiteit Leiden sluit de opleiding af met een scriptie. Daarmee krijgen studenten de kans om zich volledig te verdiepen in een onderwerp naar keuze en zelfstandig onderzoek te doen. Het schrijven van de scriptie is een intensief proces dat toewijding, oog voor detail en begeleiding van docenten én feedback van medestudenten vereist. Jaarlijks leveren onze studenten indrukwekkende scripties af die een waardevolle bijdrage leveren aan actuele wetenschappelijke en maatschappelijke debatten. Met de prestigieuze Scriptieprijs Politicologie zetten wij de allerbeste masterscripties in de schijnwerpers. Voor het academisch jaar 2024-2025 zijn er vijftien scripties genomineerd, variërend van Amerikaanse militaire interventies tot populisme en Afrikaanse diasporagemeenschappen. Op 31 oktober 2025 wordt bekend wie de winnaar is.
De jury, bestaande uit Corinna Jentzsch, Diana Davila Gordillo en Daniel Thomas, neemt momenteel de onderstaande scripties onder de loep. De winnaar wordt bekend gemaakt tijdens de Master’s Graduation Ceremony op 31 oktober 2025.
